Palmarosa essential oil is a pale straw-yellow or olive-colored oil steam-distilled from the grass leaves and aerial parts of Cymbopogon martinii, native to India and Southeast Asia. It features a sweet, floral, rosy aroma with subtle fruity, spicy, and woody nuances, often serving as a cost-effective substitute or extender for the more expensive Rose and Rose Geranium oils in perfumery.

It is prized for regulating sebum production, providing deep hydration, and stimulating skin cell regeneration, making it suitable for both dry and oily skin types.  Its scent is used to calm the mind, reduce stress and anxiety, and support emotional balance, particularly during hormonal fluctuations and it possesses strong antifungal and antibacterial properties, effectively treating conditions like athlete’s foot and supporting immune resilience.
