These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website located at alurent.com (the "Site"), our boutique located at 813 Sutter Street, Folsom, California, and all products, experiences, services, and content offered by Alurent Health & Beauty ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing the Site, placing an order, reserving an appointment, or otherwise engaging with our services, you ("you," "Client," or "User") agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Site or our services.
You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age to place an order, reserve an appointment, or create an account. By using the Site, you represent and warrant that you are of legal age to form a binding contract and that all information you provide is accurate, current, and complete. We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, or cancel orders at our sole discretion.
Alurent Health & Beauty is a niche fragrance boutique offering a curated selection of perfumes, related personal-care products, gift cards, and in-store experiences including fragrance consultations and private tastings. We offer products and services both online through the Site and in person at our boutique. The availability of any particular product, brand, or experience may vary between our online and in-store offerings and may change at any time without notice.
Certain features of the Site may require account registration. You agree to provide accurate information, maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials, and accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.
All orders placed through the Site constitute an offer to purchase, which we may accept or decline at our discretion. Prices are listed in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors, refuse or cancel orders, and limit order quantities. Payment must be received in full at the time of order. By submitting payment information, you authorize us, or our designated third-party payment processor, to charge the full amount to your selected payment method.
Applicable taxes and shipping charges will be calculated at checkout and added to your order total. We are not responsible for any fees imposed by your financial institution in connection with a transaction.
We ship to addresses authorized at checkout. Estimated delivery times are provided as a courtesy and are not guaranteed. Risk of loss and title for products pass to you upon delivery to the carrier. We are not responsible for delays, damages, or losses caused by carriers, incorrect shipping information, or events beyond our reasonable control.
Certain jurisdictions restrict the shipment of fragrance products containing alcohol or other regulated substances. Some carriers also restrict the transport of such products by air. It is your responsibility to ensure that delivery of our products is lawful at your destination, and we reserve the right to limit shipping methods accordingly.
We offer reserved in-store experiences, including private fragrance consultations and tastings, which may be booked through the Site. To confirm a reservation, a non-refundable deposit of fifty U.S. dollars ($50.00) per person is required at the time of booking. This deposit secures your appointment and reserves the time of our staff.
Deposits are non-refundable. Where applicable and at our sole discretion, the deposit amount may be applied as a credit toward a qualifying purchase made during your scheduled visit. If you do not attend your appointment, arrive after your scheduled time, or cancel, the deposit is forfeited. We may, as a courtesy and at our sole discretion, permit a one-time reschedule of an appointment when adequate advance notice is provided. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule any reservation; in the event we cancel an appointment for reasons within our control and do not offer a suitable alternative, the corresponding deposit will be refunded.
Due to the personal-care nature of our products and the hygiene and safety considerations associated with fragrance and cosmetic goods:
Opened, used, or unsealed products are final sale and may not be returned or exchanged, except where required by applicable law or in cases of products that arrive damaged or defective due to our error.
Unopened products in their original, sealed condition may be eligible for return or exchange within fourteen (14) days of delivery or purchase, subject to inspection and at our discretion. Deposits, gift cards, and clearance or final-sale items are non-refundable. Claims for damaged or defective products must be submitted to us within seven (7) days of delivery, accompanied by photographic documentation. Approved claims will be resolved through replacement, store credit, or refund at our sole discretion.
Gift cards issued by Alurent Health & Beauty may be redeemed toward eligible products and experiences. Gift cards are non-refundable, may not be redeemed for cash except where required by law, and cannot be replaced if lost or stolen. Please retain your redemption code in a secure place. Please note that we do not offer gift wrapping.

Alurent Health & Beauty may carry, reference, or describe fragrances and products from third-party brands and houses. All third-party trademarks, service marks, trade names, and brand names remain the property of their respective owners. Any use of such marks is for the purpose of identifying genuine products we offer or describing their characteristics, and constitutes nominative fair use. We do not claim ownership of, affiliation with, sponsorship by, or endorsement from any third-party brand, house, or manufacturer except as expressly stated. All content on the Site — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, photographs, illustrations, product descriptions, and the Alurent Health & Beauty name and marks — is the property of Alurent Health & Beauty or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or otherwise exploit any portion of the Site or its content without our prior written consent.
When you submit a review, comment, photograph, or other content to the Site (collectively, "User Submissions"), you grant Alurent Health & Beauty a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, translate, and distribute the User Submission in any media for any purpose related to our business, including marketing and editorial use.
You represent and warrant that any User Submission is original to you, does not infringe any third party's rights, and does not contain unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable content. We reserve the right to remove, edit, or refuse any User Submission at our sole discretion.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED, OR THAT THE SITE OR ITS SERVERS ARE FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL ALURENT HEALTH & BEAUTY, ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SITE, OUR PRODUCTS, OR OUR SERVICES, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SITE, OUR PRODUCTS, OR OUR SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO US IN THE SIX (6) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100.00). NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Alurent Health & Beauty and its owners, employees, agents, suppliers, and licensors from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Site, our products, or our services; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party right, including any intellectual property right or privacy right; or (d) any User Submission you provide.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. You agree that any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Sacramento County, California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the breach, termination, enforcement, interpretation, or validity thereof, shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association in accordance with its Commercial Arbitration Rules. The arbitration shall take place in Sacramento, California. Judgment on the award rendered by the arbitrator may be entered in any court having jurisdiction.
YOU AGREE THAT ANY DISPUTE RESOLUTION PROCEEDINGS WILL BE CONDUCTED ONLY ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT IN A CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. If for any reason a claim proceeds in court rather than in arbitration, you and Alurent Health & Beauty each waive any right to a jury trial.
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, pandemic, war, terrorism, civil unrest, government action, labor disputes, supply-chain disruption, or failures of utilities or communications networks.
We may modify these Terms at any time by posting an updated version on the Site. The "Effective Date" above will reflect the date of the most recent revision. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site or any of our services, with or without notice, for any reason, including without limitation breach of these Terms. Upon termination, the provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive will continue in effect, including without limitation the sections on Intellectual Property, User Submissions, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Dispute Resolution.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other legal notices published on the Site, constitute the entire agreement between you and Alurent Health & Beauty concerning the Site and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications, whether electronic, oral, or written.
