Shipping & Returns

This page explains how Alurent Health & Beauty handles shipping, returns, exchanges, and refunds. It supplements, and should be read together with, our Terms of Service.

1. Order Processing

We aim to process and ship orders promptly. Orders are typically prepared within a few business days, excluding weekends and holidays. You will receive a confirmation when your order is placed and, where available, tracking information once it ships. Processing times may be longer during peak periods or for limited-availability items.

2. Shipping

Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on your destination and selected method, and are added to your order total. Estimated delivery times are provided as a courtesy and are not guaranteed. Risk of loss and title for products pass to you upon delivery to the carrier. We are not responsible for delays, damages, or losses caused by carriers, incorrect shipping information, or events beyond our reasonable control.

Because many fragrances are alcohol-based, they are classified as restricted goods by some carriers and may be limited to ground transport or restricted from certain destinations. It is your responsibility to ensure that delivery of our products is lawful at your destination. We reserve the right to limit shipping methods or destinations accordingly.

3. In-Store Pickup & Reservations

Select orders may be available for pickup at our boutique at 813 Sutter Street, Folsom, California. Reserved in-store experiences, such as private consultations and classes, require a non-refundable deposit of fifty U.S. dollars ($50.00) per person at the time of booking. Please see our Terms of Service for full details on reservations and deposits.

Because our products are personal-care goods, hygiene and safety considerations limit what can be returned:

5. Damaged or Defective Items

If your order arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within seven (7) days of delivery with your order number and photographic documentation of the issue. Approved claims will be resolved through replacement, store credit, or refund at our sole discretion.

6. How to Start a Return

To request a return, exchange, or report a damaged item, contact us at support@alurent.com with your order number and the reason for the request. Please wait for confirmation and return instructions before sending any item back. Returns sent without prior authorization may not be accepted. Unless the return is due to our error, you are responsible for return shipping costs, and we recommend a trackable method, as we cannot be responsible for items lost in return transit.

7. Refunds

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Once we receive and inspect a returned item, we will notify you of the outcome. Please allow time for your bank or card issuer to post the refund after it is processed. Original shipping charges are non-refundable except where a return is due to our error.

8. Gifts

Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash except where required by law. Please note that we do not offer gift wrapping.
